Another alien from the "Adventures of Captain Cosmo." The Roid Hopeprs feed on the little Gummy Drops. I know, they are so cute but also so darn tasty!

Ha! I'm making a game (with multimedia fusion 2 [link]) where you walk round planets just like that!
It's like mario galaxy but 2d.

I love MMF! I've done about 20 games with it. I actually released several very successful commercial titles made with it back when it was Klick and Play. I know the developers very wwell. I plan on making several more hames when I can find the time :) I hope your game is going well.

I was actually writing a book on making games with it years ago but I licensed the book outline to a publisher for someone else to write it because I just didn't have the time.

It's great you are good at it. We'll have to talk shop about MMF development some time :) I made my Grape Invaders game with MMF ([link]). I plan to release a number of inexpensive games later this year.

(looks like those sprites weren't exactly made with the mmf image editor)

I never finish my games which is soooooooooooooo annoying! I always have another 'awesome idea'.

The sprites were 3D rendered.

Don't feel bad. I must have at least 20 unfinished games! Too many ideas, so little time! Eventually I will have a web site where people can download games for a couple dollars. Sort of a cheap arcade. Then I'll have an outlet for all my ideas and a reason to complete my games :)

yep, cant make that effect without 3d (i cant LIVE without 3d) I've got blender [link] but cant really use it...

...anyway, sounds like fun stuff!

Well, you can always paint it, though 3D is pretty handy for game sprites. Most of my games use 3D rendered sprites but I do paint them occasionally for something different.

Thanks :) That's funny. You know I have a cartoon illo I did years ago called Gasteroids. Farting asteroids. They were part of a computer game I was producing. I guess we are both foolish - lol Hmm, the adventures of Captain Ointment and his never ending battle against the tyranny of the irritable Hemmoroids.
